Frequently Asked Questions

Q

How accurate are the estimates?

A

Estimates are calculated using your guild basic agreements, aggregate data and historical patterns. They are deductive and directional using actual formulas, but are not guarantees.

Q

How do you calculate residuals for actors, writers and directors?

A

SyndiTrack uses guild/contract rules and rate tables. Residuals are governed by union agreements (SAG‑AFTRA, WGA, DGA); estimators apply the relevant contract formulas (fixed payments or revenue‑based percentages and credit rules) to determine base amounts.

Q

Is my data secure?

A

Yes. We use secure, encrypted systems to protect your data at all times.

Q

Who is SyndiTrack for?

A

Actors, writers, directors, accountants, business managers and any other representatives who receive residuals themselves or on behalf of creative talent.

Q

What happens if I find a discrepancy?

A

You can use our E&O Report, talking points and insights to follow up with your guild, who will help you get paid or answer to any discrepancies.
